Who we are

Lux Move Chauffeurs is a Sydney-based premium chauffeur service operating under a NSW Booking Service Provider (BSP) licence. We provide pre-booked private hire transfers across Sydney metropolitan and NSW. We are not a taxi service.

Booking and fares

Fares quoted on this website are fixed-fare confirmations: the price shown at booking is the price charged. No surge, no metered extras. Tolls, GST, and standard wait time are included in the displayed fare.

Fixed fares assume a reasonable pickup window (typically 15 minutes after the confirmed time). Excess wait time beyond that may be billed at an hourly rate, advised in advance.

Payment

Payment is processed by Stripe at the time of booking. By placing a booking you authorise Lux Move Chauffeurs to charge the displayed fare to the card you provide. Card details are handled directly by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

For corporate accounts, an invoice arrangement is available on request.

Cancellations and refunds

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup — full refund processed within 5 business days.

Within 24 hours of pickup: 50% refund
Within 2 hours of pickup, or no-show: no refund
If we cancel for any reason, you receive a full refund regardless of timing

Flight delays and changes

For airport pickups we track your flight automatically. If your arrival is delayed, your pickup time shifts in real time at no extra charge.

If your flight is rebooked or cancelled, please call 1800 848 933 as soon as you know so we can adjust or refund.

Service area

We service NSW and the ACT. Bookings outside this region are not accepted online — please call 1800 848 933 for an out-of-area quote.

Child seats and accessibility

Child seats and booster seats are provided free of charge. Please mention this when booking. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are not part of our standard fleet — call us for arrangements.

Driver conduct and passenger safety

Every Lux Move driver holds a current NSW Driver Authority and has been vetted for safety, English fluency and professional conduct. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service for any passenger behaviour that is dangerous, abusive, or violates local law.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, Lux Move Chauffeurs is not liable for indirect losses such as missed flights, missed connections, or downstream costs caused by traffic, weather, or other events outside our reasonable control.

Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of NSW.
